Puerto Rico car transport had my vehicle picked up at my home on Feb 14 2022. I went to pick it up on Mar 10. The fuel was completely gone including the filter. 2003 Dodge Cummins. The batteries were completely dead and although I had a mechanic look at it at the port I ended up getting a tow truck to deliver the vehicle to my house. After months of trying to find a mechanic including the dealership I ended up researching and fixing the problem myself. They had fried my ECM and TIPM. The insurance strung me along to this point and them because I wanted her to respond more than once every 2 weeks she denied my claim. I spent six months without a vehicle because of their negligence. I filed a complaint with the BBB. On Nov 20, 2024 I got a message that they had responded, probably hoping that I would not see it and the BBB would mark it as resolved. They said they would pay the damages but did not respond to my emails so I reopened the case with the BBB on Jan 3 2025. The BBB contacted them and they called me to confirm my address which they already had and could have sent me a check at any time for 200.00. I sent them the receipts for the parts and that is all I was asking for and they refused and said I must vacate the complaint. Not likely. It was damage caused by your company incorrectly jumping my vehicle after you ran it out of fuel. The damage was caused while the vehicle was in your care and you refuse to take responsibility. I asked for the exact cost of my receipts 1799.00. If I had been able to get someone else to fix it it would have been easily over 5000.00. I have been more than reasonable with you.
