My experience was disappointing from start to finish. Despite booking an appointment to address my concerns, I felt rushed and uninformed. The questionnaire I was asked to fill out on the day seemed irrelevant and didn't prepare me for what was to come. When discussing the CO2 laser treatment with the therapist, I felt pressured to proceed without adequate information about the potential risks for my type of skin, was only told I needed 7 days of downtime. It wasn't until I met with the doctor on the day of the procedure that I learned about the necessity of a patch test and the need for special pre-care cream(4 weeks prior)due to my skin type. This lack of communication and oversight wasted not only my time but also the money I had invested in the appointment. While the clinic offered a refund and a session of red light therapy as an apology, it fell short of compensating for the inconvenience and lost income I experienced as I work as a freelancer so time means money and those 7 days of downtime I booked off work I lost lots.
