Really great to ge tthese polaris and hommies of my corrrect shoe size. I had a problem where they defaulted to small sizes without warning. Be careful when confirimimng that the shoe sizes arelisted correctly. The hommies are great slipper alterternatives and have flexibility and grip you'd expect from barefoot shoes. The polaris are exceptional with waterproofs these will help easily snowy icy hills with great warmth and comfort. They are a little stiffer from other barefoot shoes. So thermals may be better. But still roomy and flexible and incredible grip
