Terrible experience. I listed one of my house in Portsmouth via purplebricks from last summer, at that time, they persuade me to buy their full service which means all service is fee until my property sold out. Becuase last year, the UK bank interest rate is still very high, I knew that was a hard time to sell anyway, so I purchased a full service. At the beginning, purplebricks signed property sales consultant, Paul Gates, He is very good consultant, helped me to put advertisement on the Market, and update with me before and after every potential buyer house view. But after 3 months, they changed the sales consultant to Chloe Brown, Chloe start to persuade me to use auction house, I don't really like that way. Then by the end of last year, they changed my sales consultant again, to be Jimie, until now, I still don't know his full name or email or contact number. Because the interest rate on Bank of England drop another 25 standard points on 12 of Dec 2025. I feel, the property market would be better, so i was thinking to update some photos for my property and make a discount as well to attract more potential buyers. But no matter how hard I worked, just cannot get any contact to my new consultant. I tried to email previous consultant, Chloe, and tried to call purplebricks number, all people tell me they will leave a message to my consultant Jamie and let him to call me back. It is more than 100 days, he never contact me at all. There is no office for purplebricks, so for selling a property, all steps must be relied on sales consultant. if you choose purplebricks, and you got an unreliable consultant, then you will be in a dead end! The thing is, if any customer property sell slowly, then purplebricks do not like to sign any good consultant to these kind of property. So the customer will be facing a terrible unreliable consultant anyway if the selling progress take longer. I still got another two properties in Southampton want to sell as well, I thought if purplebrick is good, I can use them to help me sell these two as well. But now, NO, big NO. Terrible experience. Highly suggest, do NOT use Purplebricks to sell your property.
