So I’ve rented out through blocket before. Now it’s all done trough Qasa, a bit expensive but figure

So I’ve rented out through blocket before. Now it’s all done trough Qasa, a bit expensive but figured it was worth it for “safety” reasons. Nevertheless they seem to have their business model structured so as to not inform you about possible problems until after the fact. In my case the renter didn’t pay his deposit, I still got several mails and signals from Qasa about the rent being finalized and provided the tenant with the keys based on that. Hyresgarantin is very clearly described on their homepage and it all made me feel safe to proceed on a Sunday. But there’s a little clause you won’t find until you ask them, and that is that the lease and garanti isn’t viable until this deposit is paid. The day after the lease already has started I got a mail about not giving the key until it’s paid. By then I was abroad. The customer service was a joke when I contacted them. They knew what they were doing and what parts of the “villkor” to lean on - making me assume that this might be part of the business model. Luckily I atleast convinced the tenant to pay the months lease directly to me. But I wouldn’t trust Qasa another time for safety. Housing is so sensitive, it might be very difficult and even dangerous to evict someone, so I find them having a an unethical model all in all.

Very disappointing rental experience!

This has been a very disappointing rental experience! The fees are exorbitantly high for a service that is quite poor. Customer support is nearly unresponsive. They reported a late payment to a collection agency due to their inability to locate a payment I made, and they demanded late payment fees despite my timely payment.

Terrible rental experience!

This has been one of the worst rental experiences I've ever had! The fees are outrageously high for a service that is abysmal. Customer support is almost non-existent. They reported a late payment to a debt collection agency because they couldn't find a payment I had made, and they insisted on charging me late fees even though I paid on time.

They have collected months of rent without payment!

They have collected five months of rent from my tenants and have yet to pay me! I keep writing to them, and it takes 3-5 days for a response. When they do reply, it's only partial, forcing me to continue writing and waiting. I'm starting to wonder if this is a scam.

Need a proper phone contact for support

There should be a proper phone contact for various rental issues, especially if someone cannot cancel a contract retroactively. Please provide a customer support phone number and hours of operation. The emails are handled by different representatives each time, which is inefficient, and the system does not allow for ending rental contracts for past dates.

Issues with payment resolution

Resolving my payment issue took over two hours. The first representative was not helpful at all, but the second one was much better, and we managed to solve the issue eventually.

Illegally withholding funds

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with the company. They overcharged me significantly, and despite acknowledging the error multiple times, I still haven’t received a refund. I was repeatedly assured that the payment would be processed, but two weeks have gone by with no transfer and no real updates. I've tried to resolve this directly and set reasonable deadlines, but they've been ignored. Due to this ongoing issue, I will now pursue legal action to recover the funds. This has been an unnecessarily stressful experience, and I cannot recommend this service based on how it has been handled.

Not perfect, but quite good.

Using this platform wasn't flawless for finding my rental apartment for the academic year, but it was quite good overall. Locating invoices can be a bit tricky for me at times, but aside from that, the system functions well.
