Update:Qasa replied with a standard message asking me to reach out again. Unfortunately, I have already done so multiple times over several months, with the same outcome — no help, no resolution, and no compensation. This response changes nothing about my experience.----I chose to rent out my apartment through Qasa because they market themselves as a safe solution with deposit handling, insurance, and support in case of conflicts. In practice, it has been the opposite: • When the tenant damaged furniture, walls, and other items worth tens of thousands of SEK, I received no help in terminating the tenancy. • The insurance via Omocom did not cover the damages. • The deposit, which Qasa initially implied would at least partly cover the losses, was not released to me. • The documentation requirements are completely unreasonable: you are expected to provide pictures of practically every surface and item taken right before move-in. Older photos showing that the apartment was in good condition (walls, countertops, doorsteps, etc.) are not accepted.Qasa gave me a false sense of security – but when it really mattered, I was left entirely without support. I have spent enormous time, money, and energy on this case and been abandoned. If you consider renting out through Qasa: be prepared to handle everything on your own when problems arise.
