Very disappointing experience with Qatar Airways customer service.
!!! The issue remains unresolved. I am unable to return home due to the airline’s actions !!!
We chose Qatar Airways specifically because of its strong reputation, high ratings, and bicycle baggage policy. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be very different.
My return flight was cancelled by the airline. Despite being fully flexible with dates, I was offered only one rerouting option, which is legally impossible for me due to Polish transit restrictions (Russian passport).
At the same time, Qatar Airways operates routes via non-Schengen hubs such as Istanbul, and an agent even mentioned this option earlier, creating false expectations. However, this alternative was later ignored.
What made the situation worse is that two agents abruptly closed the chat without confirmation or written follow-up, leaving me without any record of the conversation.
Instead of finding a lawful and workable solution, the airline insists on cancelling my ticket and issuing a refund. Due to current prices, this refund would not allow us to purchase equivalent tickets, placing us in a very difficult position.
