4 Economy flights. Seats felt more cramped than most economy domestic flights I have taken - not good on 6 and 12-13 hour flights.
Airline boarding procedures were inefficient and ineffective, with inconsistent instructions resulting in all 4 flights taking off late (2 in Dec 2025, 2 in Feb 2026). This was particularly bad in Doha.
Lost my luggage on one flight (Doha to Frankfurt) and, though eventually found and returned, they ignored every request for information (like whether they had found my bag) made in the mean time. I escalated to corporate in Qatar who instructed the local staff to update me. They didn't. Bag showed up unannounced after more than a week. I had bought new clothes etc in the mean time.
Service in flight was terrible. The one request I made out of normal meal times was ignored. I called for assistance when I need to go to the loo and everyone's meal trays were down with the detritus of a meal > 60 mins before. I received no response in 40 minutes and was eventually relieved before wetting myself when the "normal" cleanup came round. Cabin crew was annoyed by my urgent need to get past the trolley before I wet myself! Good thing I wasn't having a medical emergency ...
I will NEVER use Qatar again!
