I have just been funded and realised i have massive restrictions on my account where i could usually place 20-30 lots on GU/EU as I'm a scalper/intra day trader i can now only place 7 lots?? That is 60-70% less exposure! This doesn't suit my style of trading at all.
Not only this but my leverage has gone down to 1:10 and when purchasing the account the leverage states 1:50. That's 5x less leverage that initially stated when buying the account. Again not what i purchased.
Then finally another rule has been placed on my account after passing the challenge phases and that is 5 days of 0.5% profitability have to be achieved in each cycle in order to request a payout. The account i purchased only required 0.5% for 2 days to request a payout. That's 150% more days that have to be over 0.5% profitability. That's completely absurd and again… Not what i purchased.
I broke no rules to get such sanctions placed on my account. I checked all the FAQ for the prime account rules and double checked. I risked between 2-3% per trade which is allowed on challenge phases just no all or nothing trading which i didn't do. Even at funded the max risk allowed per trade is meant to be 2.5% so still nothing wrong. Its very common for people to risk slightly more on challenge phases then scale back to 0.5-1% on funded conditions.
I really had high hopes for this firm but this is literally insane to me that after being funded you have decided to just completely change all the rules. If these were the rules at purchase there is no way i would have ever bought the account. with this rule set i'm basically trading with instant funded rules and a 10k account? how does that make sense?
Either i get the rules that i purchased or i want a full refund and will buy an account elsewhere that doesnt change rules after being funded. im funded with a couple other firms and i have never, in all my years of trading, seen something so fraudulent.
