I absolutely DO NOT recommend Century Link/Quantum fiber after my most recent experiences with them. I had them in a previous house with no problems, however, at my current house they have been a complete nightmare and have raised my blood pressure as a result.
Last August when I moved into my new home, I had scheduled install. The man that showed up said it would be a multi-person job and could not install that day. The following week another man showed up by himself and installed it, by himself, with no issues. Fast forward a month or two and I started having outages, for multiple days before they could send someone out to fix it on the utility pole. No type of refund or apology from the company for the outages. The most recent techs told me the equipment at the utility pole is going to continue to have outages and that they will have to come out each time I have an outage to reset the equipment on the pole. I decided to cancel service and went with Verizon, which has been much better. I returned the equipment via UPS because they threaten to charge you $200 if you do not return their equipment in a timely manner. Today I got an email that they never received the equipment and are charging me $186. I am currently on a 30 minute hold so I can give these con artists the tracking number for their shitty equipment.
