I have been with Quidco since they started and had many years of easy and hassle free service. Most cashback tracked perfectly, occasionally I would have to manually claim for transactions that hadn't tracked. Claiming was fast, easy and hassle free.
Quidco have now embraced AI. Any queries take forever trying to get the ai chat bot to understand what you want. It is incredibly slow and frustrating. I needed to do a cashback claim. What used to take 1 or 2 minutes took nearly an hour. Instead of selecting the transaction that didn't track, adding order/invoice number, totals, etc. I now had to download a pdf invoice from the supplier, then upload it, then wait forever for it to translate it to a claim and then after an hour of frustration tell me I needed to wait longer. The old system was perfect, if you clicked a transaction date and it was too soon to claim, it told you immediately.
I am now less likely to bother using Quidco, as any non-tracked transactions are just too difficult to claim for. If they went back to the old system I would be happy. If this is progress, they can keep it.
