Quieton Sleep work very well, and are about 80% effective in my case, in reducing noise. They don't completely cut out all noise, but do reduce it enough so that noise that would normally keep you awake does not do so when you are wearing Quieton sleep.However, the material of the ear buds is the Achilles Heel of the device. It just doesn't last very long and after just a few weeks it begins to disintegrate and the ear buds start to allow extraneous sound through. Thus the earbuds stop doing what they are meant to do in that they no longer fit snugly in the ears. The earbuds should be much more durable and should last longer than just a few weeks. Yes, you can buy replacements, but they are not a standard fit and because of the material they are made from, you can buy them only from Quieton. And they aren't cheap either. If you happen to be away from home and need replacement earbuds, the only way to get them is by post-and they come from Finland.
