I manage media relations efforts for an 11-hospital System, which includes an Academic Medical Cente

I manage media relations efforts for an 11-hospital System, which includes an Academic Medical Center. We have been using Qwoted for approximately 1.5 years and absolutely find it to be the best use of any dollars in our very limited budget. Through Qwoted, we have learned of many story opportunities that we would otherwise not have known about and developed relationships with a number of journalists. We have had multiple expert clinicians quoted in national media coverage and secured dozens of stories as a direct result of being active on the Qwoted platform -- which is very easy to use! I would highly recommend incorporating Qwoted into your media relations workflow.

A Game-Changing Platform for Thought…

A Game-Changing Platform for Thought Leaders and Innovators, By Martin Mehl, Founder & CEO, Mentorship Academy, LLC | Scholar in Residence | Inventor of AI WorkScoreIn my decades of work at the intersection of academia, industry, and consulting, I've seen countless platforms promise to connect experts with media opportunities. Most fall short. Qwoted is the rare exception that not only delivers on its promise but exceeds expectations in ways that genuinely matter to those of us doing cutting-edge work in emerging fields. As someone deeply embedded in AI innovation, mentorship frameworks, and digital literacy—areas where nuance, accuracy, and credibility are paramount - I cannot overstate how refreshing it is to have a reliable space where pioneering thought leadership can reach truly high-caliber journalism. Qwoted has become an indispensable tool in my work, and here's why.The Quality of Connection MattersWhat sets Qwoted apart is the caliber of journalists and publications actively using the platform. These aren't content farms looking for quick quotes, these are credible primary authors and editors from respected outlets who understand the importance of expert sourcing. When I respond to a query on Qwoted, I know I'm potentially contributing to journalism that matters, that will be fact-checked, and that will reach audiences who value substantive insight. In fields as rapidly evolving as AI and digital transformation, this level of credibility is essential. Misinformation spreads quickly, and having a platform that connects genuine experts with responsible journalists is not just convenient, it's critical for public discourse.Proactive Outreach That Respects ExpertiseOne of Qwoted's greatest strengths is its ability to facilitate proactive outreach from journalists once you've established your reputation on the platform. After several successful collaborations, I've found that journalists begin to recognize the value of specialized expertise in areas like AI WorkScore methodology, digital literacy frameworks, and the unique challenges at the crossroads of academia and industry. The platform doesn't just post queries and hope for responses—it actively creates an ecosystem where expertise is valued, discovered, and leveraged. For someone juggling the demands of running Mentorship Academy, conducting research, and developing innovative AI solutions, this efficiency is invaluable. The Qwoted Team Makes the DifferenceI'd be remiss not to give a special shout-out to Shelby and the entire Qwoted team. Their thoughtful monitoring and facilitation demonstrate a deep understanding of what experts need. They're not just running a matching service; they're curating an environment where meaningful professional relationships can develop between sources and publications. The team clearly understands the challenges we face as experts trying to share complex, nuanced insights in an increasingly fragmented media landscape. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine commitment to quality have made every interaction positive & productive.Success in Bringing Sources and Publications TogetherThe proof, as they say, is in the pudding. Qwoted has consistently demonstrated success in actually connecting the right experts with the right opportunities. I've been quoted in articles that reached audiences I wouldn't have accessed otherwise, contributing insights on AI innovation, mentorship best practices, and digital transformation that needed to be part of the broader conversation. For those of us working in specialized domains—particularly at the intersection of multiple fields—finding journalists who understand the context and complexity of our work is challenging. Qwoted makes it possible, and they make it reliable.A Platform for the Future of Expert CommentaryAs AI continues to transform how we work, learn, and innovate, the need for credible expert voices has never been greater. Platforms like Qwoted represent the future of how knowledge should be shared with the public, connecting those doing the work with those telling the stories, in a way that serves both accuracy and accessibility.Whether you're pioneering new methodologies in AI, developing innovative mentorship frameworks, or working to improve digital literacy across sectors, Qwoted provides the infrastructure to ensure your expertise reaches the audiences who need it most. For anyone hesitating about whether to invest time in another platform: Qwoted is worth it. It's reliable, it's effective, and it's run by people who genuinely care about elevating expert voices in an age when we need them more than ever.

Excellent platform and highly recommend

There is a reason why publicists will pay a high monthly fee for this service - because it is extremely valuable. I highly recommend for agencies and experts representing themselves. The customer service is incredible and there are constant improvements. I appreciate all of the meet-ups and webinars too.

Bad business practices!

I waited almost a year to leave this review. I didn't want to leave the review because I hoped my situation would be resolved at some point, and maybe this was temporary. This company disables and blocks customers without any reason whatsoever. I have contributed to multiple outlets, including Tom's Guide, Live Science, Family Handyman, and more. After 3 months, my account was suspended without any explanation. If you try to communicate with them, they will simply ignore you. This isn't how you build a credible media company.I do not recommend the platform, as it is very unprofessional and rude. Go with platforms such as Featured (HARO) Sources of Sources, and don't waste your time here.

Banned me for no reason and refused to tell me why. I spoke to their customer service, and they just ignored me after I asked them why. A website that is meant to offer experts to journalists but limits the number of legitimate experts is a bit sus.

Account Disabled Without Warning – Zero Communication for Weeks

I have been an active expert source on Qwoted for over a year, successfully contributing to major outlets like Forbes, BBC, and Travel+Leisure. My experience recently turned into a total lack of professional transparency.I realized something was wrong when my regular email notifications for relevant media requests suddenly stopped in December. When I tried to log in at the start of January to investigate, I discovered my account had been disabled without any prior warning or explanation. The lack of support is systemic:Complete Silence: I sent multiple inquiries to their support team and my assigned Success Manager over the last three weeks. Every single email went unanswered.Failed Live Chat: I attempted to resolve this via live chat today. The agent used an incorrect script claiming I was a duplicate user. When I explained that I have been a loyal user for over a year, the agent simply abandoned the conversation. It seems I am not alone in this experience. Other recent reviews from users like Svetlana and Ehlana confirm a pattern of Qwoted blocking relevant, high-quality contributors with zero explanation or customer service. If Qwoted is purging accounts to prioritize paid users, they should at least have the professional courtesy to inform their long-term partners. Disabling a proven expert source without a word is not how you build a credible media network.I am now moving my expertise to more reliable and transparent platforms like HARO, Featured.com (owns also HARO), and Sources of Sources (SOS). Do not waste your time here if you expect basic communication or professional respect.EDIT (13 February):Trustpilot contacted me stating that Qwoted requested additional details to recognize my review.I confirm that I was an active user of Qwoted for over a year. If further verification is required, Qwoted can contact me directly using the information associated with my account.I stand by my review, which reflects my personal experience.UPDATE (14 February 2026):Trustpilot has contacted me again requesting additional verification details to confirm my experience with Qwoted. Here are the requested details:Account email: provided privately via verification formAccount created: March 2024Last successful login: December 2025Success Manager: Shelby BridgesCompany: World Travel IndexInterestingly, my Success Manager Shelby Bridges viewed both my company profile (World Travel Index) and my LinkedIn profile immediately after I posted this review - proving that Qwoted is fully aware of who I am and can easily verify my account. Yet despite this, I still have received zero communication regarding why my account was disabled.Qwoted has complete access to my account history and can verify all details at any time.

I wrote around 4 pitches that were…

I wrote around 4 pitches that were highly relevant, specifically requests for products for Valentines' day. Then I decided to pay for a year. Tried to do another relevant pitch on the same day and discovered that my account is blocked due to "negative feedback". What feedback? All I did was send descriptions with links to relevant products, as was requested. No explanation what I did wrong, just a letter with a refund and recommendation to turn to free resources. Thanks, I will. How are we supposed to know what we did wrong or how we abused the system? On the plus side, they are not money grabbers considering the refund, which I am supposedly getting soon. But overall, it was a very bad experience. I was ONLY replying to relevant requests. I am no spammer. If you guys have such high standards for pitchers in your elite club, you should live up to these standards by at the very least explaining what they are.

Trustworthy and Well Moderated Platform

I’ve had a really great experience with Qwoted so far. What I appreciate most is how seriously they take community quality. They’re very diligent about keeping spammers out and making sure experts and PR are legitimate. It makes the platform feel trustworthy and professional, which honestly makes a huge difference. Highly recommend if you want a PR network that’s actually well run!!
