I choose RAC because my parents used them back in the 80, 90's etc. I had one reason to call them last year and the app said they would be 6 - 7 hours. It wasn't a school holiday, it wasn't a weekend. In fact I was in the middle of a town in Sussex during the day. I cancelled the call out in the end.
