A convenient service provided especially for disabled for whom vehicle servicing usually requires additional costs for the use of taxis when taking/fetching vehicle from garage.

I broke down with my 15 year old son yesterday at 10:45 and booked online. Time kept moving and 5 hours later the patrol showed up and said your car needs to go to a garage. I was then
Taken half way home to Chievley services with the time now around 17:30 where I was to be met by another RAC patrol. I was then advised I would need to wait a further 4 to 6 hours. Completely unacceptable. Contacted RAC to be told that’s the best they can do. At this stage I had to pay a local company £185 to take me home which arrived at 19:30 and finally got home 10 and half hours after initial breakdown. If I had to wait the expected time for the second patrol to take me the rest of the way who knows what time we would have got home. Really let down by RAC yesterday and if I could score less than 1 I would. Poor service, poor communication and would not recommend to anyone.
Worst service ever waited for 4 hours for flat tyre guy came and said the whole is small I need to make it big he did that still couldn't even fix simple penture have to come home with flat tyre.
My son’s car broke down on M20 due to overheat and Bob (id 2821) turned up pretty quickly. He helped him to get it going and even followed him part of the journey, just to make sure that it’s ok to carry on. So thank you for your service.
We had absolutely brilliant service from Mark at the RAC, he’s a testament to the company! Mark kept us updated as he was on his way to us, arrived quickly and got our car started almost immediately. He was so friendly and positive, just what was needed in a stressful breakdown situation. He was knowledgeable and explained clearly what the issue was with the car, explained what action we needed to take and waited to make sure we drove off safely. Flawless service and we haven’t stopped singing his praises and the wonderful service from RAC since.
Absolutely ridiculous never ever buy cover from them better go to AA my breakdown happened with the two children under two stayed on the road for five hours when car was picked up we haven’t been taken anywhere we got ourselves to the rental house car was dropped off in unknown location. Nobody over the phone knew where his car until investigation while trying to contact them why they haven’t recovered my car back home which was promised by a telephone team for additional £150 because we was quite far away from the home next day, they played blonde and said that there’s no such a option for us they left the car one hour away from home and each time when I’m calling as soon as I get the car number plate the hanging up over nine phone calls has been hanged up. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Service worst human beings ever who works there they are saying about customer have no right to be abusive while they’re abusing our whole family. I was crying over the phone asking for help because I can’t physically walk to station where they left the car to order recovery with two little kids.
Kris has restored my faith in the RAC. He was out to my breakdown in Taunton within 20 mins. I was very worried as I had 3 system warning messages and the car wouldn't start. I didnt think it would be fixable on the road, but Kris was so calming & reassuring. He knew exactly what the problem was straight away & how to fix it. He clearly explained everything he was doing & I even got to learn some new things about my car. He was a very personable & engaging patrol man and clearly happy helping people. I was fixed and back on the road in about 30 minutes or so with the cause of the breakdown clearly explained. I couldn't be happier with this fantastic service. Thanks Kris

Antony ID 7564 was absolutely brilliant. Explained everything he was doing. I had an RAC garage waiting for my car (Westbere Garage) so he managed to get my car going and followed me to the garage, about 3 miles away.
Told the garage what the fault was so they could order the part required.
He then dropped me back at my home.
Could not have asked for a better service.
