They don't communicate with their partners and don't logistically review their storage locations. I finished a bank holiday weekend trip and was due to take a train back home, I wanted to spend some time around the area and do some activities beyond the watersports I'd been doing the entire weekend. They advertised luggage storage at the station, so I purchased for 2 items (1 for a large sports bag) as I had a lot of equipment on me.When I get there I realise that it's a small local convenience store, barely able to get my luggage through the door. I scanned the barcode but to be honest, I was in disbelief. They didn't have a secure area for the luggage they left it in the middle of an open staff kitchen where anyone could walk into the store and grab my valuables if they wanted. I felt very uncomfortable leaving my luggage there. Then the staff were looking uncomfortable with my presence and started saying that they're closing early and that they were only keeping the store open for me and that I should be understanding since it's bank holiday Monday. I asked if the storage company knew about their closing times and they said "yes". I was planning to leave immediately with my stuff but one of my bags with heavy equipment decided to break then and there. So I had to make a quick flurry to buy a new bag, get back to the store, re-pack my items and then leave. It was all very uncomfortable. My items were barely held there and all plans to do any other activities had to be scrapped, I contacted Radical Storage to get a 'partial refund' as my items had been there for a little bit as I sorted out the broken bag situation, but their response was I'd 'checked in' by having my bag scanned that was good enough and means I'd used the service. Absolutely not worth your time. Avoid at all costs.
