A mixed experience with luggage storage during my trip to Rome

My four-day stay in Rome was delightful until a luggage storage service disrupted my last day. On January 21st, I arranged for luggage storage through this service from 10:00 to 19:30. Unfortunately, upon our arrival at 10:00 AM, my wife and I found the gate locked. I attempted to reach them via the phone number listed on their site but had no success. I also tried the online customer service, but the interface was confusing and the replies were delayed. Given our plans, we ended up carrying our heavy luggage ourselves, which left us worn out for the remainder of the day. To add to the frustration, on January 22nd, I noticed a charge of 13.5 EUR from my bank account! Not only did they disrupt my trip, but they also charged me for a service that was never provided. I emailed customer service on January 23rd to request a refund, and on January 24th, I received a response that was quite astonishing: "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We can assist you in relocating your booking to a different nearby storage facility; just let us know your preference, and we'll handle the rest." Is this service even reading my concerns? I'm still uncertain about getting my money back, but I will certainly steer clear of this service in the future. Everything I've stated is accurate, and I take full legal responsibility for any claims made. I'm sharing this review to help fellow travelers avoid similar issues!

Update: I later sent another email requesting a refund again. This time, a customer service representative managed the refund process, and I am very thankful for their assistance. This has also slightly restored my faith in the service.

Disappointing experience in Tokyo

I attempted to use the service twice during my time in Tokyo. The first attempt showed an incorrect location on the map, making it impossible to find or reach the business. On my second try, despite confirming and paying, the business refused to store my luggage. Even after I expressed my concerns, the business remained listed on the platform for several days. I requested a refund multiple times, but the service failed to provide any resolution. Overall, a frustrating experience.

Completely misleading service.

A complete scam. I took extra care when booking to ensure that the storage location was adjacent to the train station I was departing from. I confirmed it multiple times. However, after payment, I received an email stating that my baggage storage was nowhere near the location I had selected. It was actually miles away, requiring another bus ride or a lengthy walk to a random convenience store. Utterly ineffective. One star is far too generous.

Unreliable service and poor support response.

The storage facility I booked was not available, so I reached out to the support team to cancel. They informed me, "Since the reservation was confirmed, cancellation is at the user's discretion, and we will issue a voucher for future use." This made me uneasy, but I was pressed for time, so I accepted. Days later, when I wanted to use the voucher for another facility that I could verify was available, I received this reply: "We cannot accommodate that. Please make a reservation there, and we will refund you afterward." I lost trust in them and responded, "If that’s the case, please refund me first, or as you mentioned earlier, allow me to use the voucher. The fact that a supposedly registered facility was unavailable reflects your inadequate quality control," but they have not responded further. In conclusion, it's wiser to choose other services that offer cancellation options.

Charged for storage and directed to a residential address with no place to leave or retrieve our bags. Others were also looking confused outside. This forced us to find a more reliable service, causing us to miss a planned excursion. I suggest anyone reading this to avoid this unreliable storage service and seek a legitimate option. Their automated responses can be quite condescending as well. To anyone considering this, look for better, more reliable services that might even be more affordable.

Smooth and convenient experience

Collecting my luggage was simple and hassle-free, thanks to the supportive staff at the hotel. The only downside was the delay in the status updates; it took a few minutes and several attempts for the status to change. It might have been a network glitch or an app issue. Fortunately, it was resolved quickly, but those few minutes were a bit concerning.

Fantastic location and excellent service!

The luggage storage was perfectly situated — just a few minutes from the train station and at the beginning of the main shopping streets. Extremely convenient! The staff member there was exceptionally kind and welcoming, making me feel more like a friend than just a customer. I felt completely comfortable leaving my bags there. Highly recommend!

Fast and straightforward

I showed them the code upon arrival, and they pointed out where the bags were stored. When we returned, the staff recognized us and took us directly to our bags; we were out in just two minutes.
