Radical Storage Córdoba: No Refund for Power Outage-Related Delay

I am writing to share our disappointing experience with Radical Storage in Córdoba, Spain, last April 29, 2025 . Due to the nationwide power outage that unfortunately occurred the previous day, the train services we relied upon were significantly delayed. As a result, we arrived in Córdoba much later than anticipated and were regrettably unable to utilize the luggage storage service we had booked with Radical Storage.Upon contacting Radical Storage to explain our situation and request a refund, we were informed that the only option available was store credit, valid for use within the next six months. While I understand that this may be standard policy in some circumstances, it is entirely unsuitable for us as tourists visiting from the Philippines. We have no plans to return to Spain within the next six months, making the store credit effectively useless.We were particularly disappointed with this inflexibility, especially considering the extenuating circumstances of a nationwide power outage that directly impacted our ability to reach Córdoba on time. In contrast, we were very grateful that the Mezquita-Cathedral de Córdoba graciously provided us with a refund for our pre-booked tickets after we presented our delayed train tickets as evidence. This understanding and customer-centric approach was greatly appreciated.While I understand unforeseen events can occur, the refusal to offer a refund to our original method of payment, especially given our status as international tourists with no immediate plans to return, has left us with a negative impression of Radical Storage's customer service. We hope that you will reconsider your policy in situations involving significant, external disruptions that prevent customers from using booked services, particularly for those who are not local residents.
