Signed up to check bags at a restaurant in Paris. We showed them our barcode. They handed us tags and asked us leave bags near the exit. Fully exposed to any passerby to take without anyone noticing. We came back to get our bags. The same person asked to scan our ticket. This is when we learned that our bags had NEVER been properly checked in. They checked in and checked out our bags at the same time. They did this to EVERYONE left their bags. We learned that they are intentional to do this.
