These guys are awesome! They really do care about their customer satisfaction and interface comprehension. The technical team are always available when you need them - any kind of troubleshooting - they're all over it! Great hosting service for our radio will continue to use for as long as possible! Crisp quality sound and very easy to use! 100% recommend to anyone who loves radio broadcasting.
TLDR: Great host with a limited free plan, but very cheap paid plans for what you receive. Amazing customer service!FULL REVIEW:While the free plans are quite limited in terms of music storage and listener count, it has no limits on total listener hours per month like most others do, and it even allows you to have two separate stations (if you can manage to fit enough content in 1GB for them). However, where this service shines is in the price of the paid plans and what they include. Most other hosts have a $10 plan which gives you a single station, maybe 5GB of storage, and you still might have a limit of a couple hundred listeners and a few thousand total listener hours per month (averages to 100 listeners being able to each listen for 10 hours per month at 1000 total listener hour limit), and other limitations. This service's closest price equivalent is $9 per month, and it provides up to 4 stations, 50GB of storage, 200 concurrent listeners, and no total hour limit. The support is amazing and quick. If you have any issue, pop into their Discord and mention it, and it'll probably be solved, or at least the team will be responding for clarification, before you can even tab to another server and scroll down to the recent messages!Edited: The only real downside I had to point out in my original review was that the customer site was not working correctly, but that it was actively being improved. Well, I'm glad to see that it now seems to be working as it should! Support is all on Discord, including the setting up of the stations, which is odd, but it beats waiting days for emails from some of the other hosts. It would be nice to have this be automated one day, but I don't think they have the infrastructure for that quite yet.OUTDATED PART, LEFT FOR REFFERENCE:"If it's so good, why didn't you leave a 5-star review" I hear you ask...Well, there is one glaring issue... The website. If all you care about is finding some random online radio station, it's fine for that. If you want to have your own radio, the site just doesn't work. When you select a plan, it asks for you Discord name (this company is heavily focused on Discord, which is odd, but I like it), but the "Next" button doesn't work. The big Discord invite button on the top of the site also doesn't work (the invite is invalid). I almost moved on to find another host when I first came across the site. It wasn't until the staff messaged me on Discord when I was in a related server discussing radio hosts that I was able to finally get set up with this host."If you can't even become a customer, why isn't it zero stars!?" Well, because, at the end of the day, I am a customer, and got around that issue. As for the issue still holding back other potential customers, they are building a new site that should be going public (and being linked to the explore site) very soon. They are aware of this issue and are working on a fix. When they do, I'll adjust my review to include that.
Radiocast is an amazing Radio Station Directory that helps new starter radios grow large, they really help with everything you need to know and all of their staff are really talented/interested in online radio stations. I personally own Shockwaves Radio, we aren't running on their free hosting service at the moment but I'm sure that is great as well for anyone who wants to give presenting a try with a low cost!
