I have owned my Rain 5G "The Zero" router for over two years. It began severely overheating about two weeks ago and has now completely failed. Despite paying R620 for the month, I have been left without service.Rain's customer service is shocking and completely unhelpful.1. 24-Hour Chatbot is Useless: The service is a marketing myth. It failed to resolve the issue and instead directed me to cancel my plan and pay for a new router, an unacceptable solution for faulty equipment.2. Phone Support is Non-Committal: The agent offered zero commitment, only vague promises of an "escalation to logistics" and an expected call. It was clear the representative did not want to own the problem.3. Appalling Support: While the WIFI performance was excellent, the back-end customer support process is designed to deflect, not solve. I am now forced to buy data while waiting for a response regarding a device I already paid for.The cost of this poor customer experience drastically outweighs the enjoyment of the service. I require immediate replacement of the faulty unit and a refund for lost service days.
