I woke on a Monday, only to find that rain router is not transmitting signal to my devices as usual. The router UI shows 'Network disabled' while providing no option to enable. I bough 50 min for 59 rand and spend the whole day calling them, they just tell me to move the router and reboot even though it was clear this is a technical issue. They escalated the issue and said they will get back to me within few hrs. After few hours no call I relied. I called they more than 4 times in a day and they have been giving me run arounds and empty promises. My minutes depleted with me calling them instead of them calling me to give update. I spend the whole of yesterday without connectivity and my work being left behind. I bought data for R21 in the even after realising I was being played. It's the next day today and I still have to buy data from my pocket even though I pay ±R630 every month for connection. As a paying customer I am extremely dissatisfied with the poor customer service from rain. If miss I payment for a day I get disconnected, but now this!
