What a welcome surprise the Ravel Hotel was. After reading so many negative reviews of the hotel I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Our room was ready when we arrived. Yes the furniture was mismatched and had some marks on it. So what! We were here for a holiday not to sit in the room. Our room looked out over Manhattan and which was magnificent. Housekeeping looked after our room very well for the 7 days we were there. We didn't try the restaurant for dinner or breakfast but did hear music on the Saturday night but was not really worried about it. As for the area, we were not at all worried about walking back from the subway at night. There was a shuttle bus but we did not use it. We walked to and from the subway in about 10-15 minutes. Thank you Ravel Hotel for making our New York stay fantastic.

Friendly and very welcoming from the moment we walk through the door!!!

Wow what a hotel!! We had a fabulous time staying here. Staff made us feel very welcome. Nothing was to much trouble and always went the extra mile. Shuttle bus is a bonus and runs every half hour. Will be staying here again next year! Thank you for a lovely stay. Simon and Jane from the Uk!

One of the best views of the city and one of the best ambiances

Ravel is definitely a great place to stay if you're visiting NYC or if you want hang out in a trendy hotel for a couple nights.

The rooftop has one of the best views of NYC hand down and the have a great ambiance and plenty of space so you don't bump into people every time you move like in other rooftops.

The music is good and the food is good. What else could you ask for.

The manager at the front desk is very helpful and knows his stuff.

Excellent Service and stunning view!

I stayed at Ravel for my wedding and I could not be happier with their service. The staff was really nice, and always prompt whenever I need something. The hotel manager was very professional and really helpful. I got ready at their suit the day of my wedding, and needed several things that were not available at the room like an outlet extension lol and the staff provided me with one right away.

Not only did i receive great service from the hotel staff, but also great views for picture. Their penthouse suit had a gorgeous view of the city and worked out great for some stunning shots. Their roof top offers just the same. Beautiful view of the city, and great for a nice romantic evening dinner. Whether you book a stay at Ravel or simply go to the rooftop for a nice dinner, the service and view will not disappoint.

Friendly staff, awesome service, and stunning view!!!

Great Great Great Hotel

I have stayed at this hotel for a long time. It's a great hotel. The view is one of the best in the city and the food is Great as well ! The staff has always been really nice and helpful. Also there are a lot of subways within walking distance if you want to walk or just take the free shuttle. I definitely recommend this hotel.
