I would rate ZERO for this time experience using RBC,
"Extremely disappointed with how RBC handles major fraud issues. I recently discovered a large fraudulent transaction on my account, but instead of helping, the security team told me they couldn't place a stop payment or even issue a new card right away. All they could do was 'lock' the account and told me I have to wait 3 weeks for an investigation with zero promise of getting my money back.
It feels like they don’t take these security breaches seriously at all. I had a similar issue in December 2023, and the service was completely different—helpful and professional. Now, the attitude is dismissive, and the lack of urgency is suspicious. It’s a terrible feeling when you're the victim of fraud and your own bank makes you feel like they’re making it easier for the scammers than for you. Worst experience ever."
I had big fraud issue today, both td and rbc got issue, I called TD first, they reversed today's transactions right away and put the money back to my acct, issued new card with new number, make sure login changed.
