Well constructed and will last a long time. Bungee cords seem not to be as firm as metal springs but the lack of noise with the bungee cords is a big plus. I would think being softer would be less stress on the ankles. The handle height adjustment is made with screws. One of the screws wouldn't go all the way in. Flexible buttons I think would be better.
