However, I later found out that the person who met my mother was not a solicitor but an unqualified assistant. Despite my clear request, they proceeded with the appointment. When I raised concerns, they became defensive and ignored other issues. My mother never met the solicitor responsible for her will. When I sought answers, I was handed off to another solicitor, leading to a lack of continuity and no response to my concerns. They also charged £200 for a mental capacity assessment, but when the bill arrived, it was £500. This is unacceptable, especially considering my mother’s situation. I complained, but the responses were unsatisfactory. Overall, a careless and unprofessional company that I cannot trust again.
