Review Time
I visited the local office in July 2025 regarding an application from a former partner seeking a restriction with the property registry. The guidance I received during my first meeting was vague, resulting in wasted time and additional expenses on my part. Several letters sent for approval contained grammatical errors, and I was billed each time I requested corrections. I would definitely advise against using their services.
The service was absolutely terrible. I had to repeatedly request information. They claimed letters were sent out, but they hadn’t been. I discovered that letters were mailed second class from a different office. It was only after contacting them again that I found out probate had been granted three weeks prior! I advise staying away for your own peace of mind.
In March, my mother went to a local office to complete power of attorney for myself and my sisters. This was quite costly, considering we could have done it ourselves, but she preferred to go through solicitors. However, they completely messed up our names, and the guardianship office rejected it, prolonging the process. Unfortunately, my mother fell ill, and we couldn’t act on her behalf without the power of attorney. She sadly passed away on August 12th, and the power of attorney was delivered to me that day—far too late. When I contacted them about their failure to provide the service my mother paid for, they refused to offer any refund. Very poor professional practice; I would not recommend them.
I wish I had seen these reviews before attempting to use this service for a property sale and purchase. Communication was inconsistent, and key documents like the draft contract pack and forms were not sent until months into the process. We expected professional guidance and attention to detail, but the level of service we received left us exhausted and disappointed. I would not recommend them for a reliable conveyancing process. I have already contacted their compliance team, but there has been no improvement.
I visited the local office in July 2025 regarding an application from a former partner seeking a restriction with the property registry. The advice I received during my initial consultation was unclear, leading to wasted time and unnecessary expenses. Some letters sent for approval were grammatically incorrect, and I was charged each time I requested corrections. I would not recommend their services.
The customer service was shocking! As many others have noted, one should avoid this service if they value their mental and emotional well-being. I wish I had read the reviews before engaging them to handle a discretionary trust deed. They quoted a total cost upfront but took two months to process preliminary documents and then increased the quote to four times higher than initially stated! This was unaffordable and nearly three times higher than quotes from other solicitors. No apology was given, and now my elderly mother is distressed as we have to start over. Their generic responses to reviews are meaningless; if they truly wanted to make amends, they would address the issues instead of giving such responses.
The service provided was absolutely awful and not fit for purpose. The solicitor's communication was so poor that I had to find alternatives to prevent my case from going to a final hearing. Over several months, her responses were often delayed by weeks or even months. Her lack of attention to detail added unnecessary stress. I believe this service should not be allowed to provide legal aid due to its incompetence. Following their reply, I encourage them to review all email correspondence to understand the extent of the poor service provided.
Weeks have been wasted when things could have been addressed immediately. My concerns were ignored. My solicitor initially listened but failed to act on my defense and did not respond to my concerns despite ample evidence. I had to wait weeks for replies, if I received any at all. I strongly recommend avoiding this service, especially for family law. My solicitor finally sent my documents, but there was no explanation, leaving me to seek another solicitor while crucial actions were delayed. Thanks for wasting my time.
I arranged by phone for a solicitor to prepare a simple will for my mother, specifying that a qualified solicitor was needed. However, I later found out that the person who met my mother was not a solicitor but an unqualified assistant. Despite my clear request, they proceeded with the appointment. When I raised concerns, they became defensive and ignored other issues. My mother never met the solicitor responsible for her will. When I sought answers, I was handed off to another solicitor, leading to a lack of continuity and no response to my concerns. They also charged £200 for a mental capacity assessment, but when the bill arrived, it was £500. This is unacceptable, especially considering my mother’s situation. I complained, but the responses were unsatisfactory. Overall, a careless and unprofessional company that I cannot trust again.
