£60 paid for delivery! Told I would get a 2 hour time slot on the day. Didn’t receive update until 13:15 saying delivery would be between 13:59 & 15:59.
Tracking said I was 7 of 7 delivery. This never changed, so “tracking” was redundant.
Item was delivered at approximately 15:15.
Delivered on a pallet to kerbside. Driver stated he was not allowed to take the items any further.
I am a 69 year old female recovering from a broken arm.
I was left in the pouring rain unwrapping the pallet and trying to carry 3 boxes of wood flooring up a long path into the house. Each box was 25kg!
Also one box was damaged and exposing the wood.
Disgusting!!!
How can a £60 charge be warranted when there is no service?
Also, I couldn’t have had someone here to help me as they would have had to be to mine at 8am with no idea of the items arrival time.
