I had an incredibly frustrating experience. I subscribed for a phone and made payments for 12 months, with the final payment due in September 2025. After completing the last installment, I inquired about the buyout agreement to settle my account, but received no response to my emails. At the end of October, they charged my account again. I followed up about this unexpected charge, only to be told that I should have requested them to stop deducting funds, which was not part of our initial agreement. They still did not provide the buyout agreement. By the end of November, I received a reminder for my monthly payment of R1290. I responded, stating I wouldn't pay unless they sent the buyout agreement. On November 30, they disconnected my phone and sent me threatening emails about sending a courier to collect it. I chose not to reply. On December 3, they began calling me to arrange a courier pickup, but I refused to hand over my phone after paying for a year. I informed a representative that I was waiting for the buyout agreement and insisted they adjust the R1290 from it, as I had reached out multiple times without a response. She requested all my previous emails, which I provided. She assured me she'd follow up, but never did. The next day, another representative called, repeating the same information. I sent her the screenshots again, and she promised to escalate the issue. Later that day, I received a buyout agreement stating an amount of R5000, while my actual buyout was R6290. I declined to sign it. Eventually, they sent a link for me to pay R807, claiming the matter was resolved. I paid and signed the agreement, expecting my phone to be reconnected, but it still isn't working. I reached out via WhatsApp and email for assistance, and while a representative promised to investigate, they have since stopped responding.
