Extremely Disappointed with Delivery Delays

I have been waiting since December 2025 for my PS5 to arrive. I received confirmation of my application and was informed that a waybill would be sent, but that never happened. I was also told that my item would only be available in February. I'm unclear about the reason for this delay. When I checked the app, it indicated that the item was out of stock, but there was no mention of this when I applied. This is very poor service delivery and communication! It is also impossible to reach them when trying to make contact! The company, please call me!

Unacceptable Delay in Delivery

I paid a deposit for a washing machine in September 2025, and to this day, I have yet to receive it. The company cannot even provide an estimated delivery date. I'm left to reach out repeatedly for updates. I'm truly disappointed with their service.

Desperate for Assistance with a Refund Issue

I urgently need help retrieving my money from the company. They scammed me out of R850 on their website with a nonexistent phone. I placed an order in September 2025, and now I'm struggling to get my refund amidst a sea of lies. Even their field agents are skilled at dodging my requests. One agent assured me he would look into my refund and escalate the issue; he asked me to send all our communication via messaging, and now he has vanished. His phone just rings. I'm reaching out to anyone who can help me recover my money. I've been emailing, messaging, and calling weekly, but they take ages to respond or ignore my emails until I send multiple reminders. They act like they're addressing the issue. Can someone please help? I strongly advise everyone to avoid this service. Their website is still active, misleading those who are unaware. I wonder why it still appears legitimate. They have agents at a local mall, but their service is simply disappointing.

Extremely frustrating experience.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience. I subscribed for a phone and made payments for 12 months, with the final payment due in September 2025. After completing the last installment, I inquired about the buyout agreement to settle my account, but received no response to my emails. At the end of October, they charged my account again. I followed up about this unexpected charge, only to be told that I should have requested them to stop deducting funds, which was not part of our initial agreement. They still did not provide the buyout agreement. By the end of November, I received a reminder for my monthly payment of R1290. I responded, stating I wouldn't pay unless they sent the buyout agreement. On November 30, they disconnected my phone and sent me threatening emails about sending a courier to collect it. I chose not to reply. On December 3, they began calling me to arrange a courier pickup, but I refused to hand over my phone after paying for a year. I informed a representative that I was waiting for the buyout agreement and insisted they adjust the R1290 from it, as I had reached out multiple times without a response. She requested all my previous emails, which I provided. She assured me she'd follow up, but never did. The next day, another representative called, repeating the same information. I sent her the screenshots again, and she promised to escalate the issue. Later that day, I received a buyout agreement stating an amount of R5000, while my actual buyout was R6290. I declined to sign it. Eventually, they sent a link for me to pay R807, claiming the matter was resolved. I paid and signed the agreement, expecting my phone to be reconnected, but it still isn't working. I reached out via WhatsApp and email for assistance, and while a representative promised to investigate, they have since stopped responding.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. I subscribed for an Iphone 13, payed for 12 months. My 12th month was on September 2025. After paying for the last installment. I asked about buyout agreement so that I can settle it. They never responded to my emails. End of October they debited again. I sent another email asking about the money they have debited. I was told that I should have told them to stop deducting money from my account, which was never the initial agreement I had with them.Still they didn't send me the buyout agreement. So end of November they sent me a reminder that I should pay R1290 that I was paying monthly. I replied to their email,I told them i will not do that. Unless they send me the buyout agreement. On the 30th November they disconnected my phone. They sent me threatening emails about sending the courier to collect my phone. I didn't bother replying. On the 3rd December they started calling me asking about my whereabouts so that the courier will meet me. I told them nobody is getting my phone after paying for 12 months without missing. I told Mphonyana that I'm waiting for buyout agreement and they must make sure that they minus the R1290 from the buyout agreement, cause i communicated with them and they never bothered to respond to my emails. She told me to send her all the emails that i sent them. I screenshot every email and sent her. She promised to get back to me but she never did. On the 4th another lady Nthabiseng called repeating the same crab her colleagues was telling me. I sent her screenshot again, she promised to escalate the matter to the relevant person. Same day I received buyout agreement that was not amended to R5000 because my buyout amount was R6290. I refused to sign. Later on they sent me a link to pay R807, they said they resolved the matter. I payed and signed the agreement. After paying i thought they will connect my phone,Even now my phone is not working. I sent them WhatsApp and email asking about the connection,Floyd promised to look into it,now he is no longer answering my messages.

I subscribed for a PS5 in November…

I subscribed for a PS5 in November 2023. I opted for the 6 month subscription as I didn’t know how it worked and I thought I paid for the device to own it after 6 - 12 months. It is now October 2025. I have “leased” the device for 23 months now. If I take the total I paid thusfar (R1040 pm x 23), I have paid Rentoza R23 920. SO, I have checked online, and according to BusinessTech, the model is based on, if you want to “buy out” the product while it is still in the “subscription” period, meaning for example if you want to buy the product 6 months into your 12 month subscription, you need to pay the amount upfront for the months that you still need to pay (I don’t know if it makes sense). So with that in mind, The last time I made contact to try and “buy out” my device, they stated that I should pay R8260 UPFRONT to end my subscription. That means, for a gaming console that normally cost around R8000 to R12000, I would end up paying R32 180. Please be aware of this BEFORE using Rentoza. Think twice or put a little money away in a savings account and buy the item you want for cash, you’ll pay MUCH less and you wouldn’t have the stress to deal with non existent customer care. I purposely opened a new bank account and closed my old one, so that they can contact me about the missed payment, because honestly that’s the only way I can talk to them.

Unacceptable Delay and Complete Failure…

Unacceptable Delay and Complete Failure of Rentoza's Service CommitmentThis review documents the complete failure of service I experienced with Rentoza. My order was placed 45 days ago. During this extensive waiting period, RentOza's system maintained the original Estimated Time of Delivery (ETD), providing no proactive communication or revised estimates, which created a false sense of security. The situation was compounded when, just two days before the supposed delivery date, I finally received a critical update confirming the commitment could not be met. To deceptively maintain a consistent, unachievable ETD for over six weeks and then change it at the last possible moment is a display of gross unprofessionalism and a systemic breakdown in logistics and customer care processes. My trust in this company is irrevocably broken. Due to the excessive 45-day delay and the unacceptable communication void, I am officially canceling the order and no longer want the product. My expectation is an immediate, full refund. This is not a request, but a requirement resulting from a failed contract of service. Prospective customers should be acutely aware of the substantial risk of severe delays and a complete absence of transparent communication when dealing with Rentoza.
