I was unaware that the airline's system was down for maintenance. A search led me to an alternative customer service number (or so I thought). They asked all the usual security questions regarding my booking and attempted to scam me for £1,000 to change my itinerary. Luckily, my card issuer detected the scam; they were trying to charge me USD1,000 instead. It's alarming how they can produce a similar airline screenshot. Always contact the official airline directly.
