Terrible customer service. Made it impossible to return an item, expect you to pay for return shipping and won’t refund original shipping so you would end up with nothing. Also ignore emails or answer very slowly, tone is also passive aggressive. Now stuck with an unsuitable item and no refund. Do not shop here. Following Retro Stage's feedback, I received no communication from them on the date they say the matter was resolved on May 22nd and there is no refund on my card. My last email to them was May 21st requesting an update which I did not receive. My first email to them was 28th April and I have had no communication from them since May 7th.To clarify further, when I asked for a refund, the options I was given were to either pay an additional $13 for a replacement item and keep the one that was too big, return the item but I would not be refunded for shipping and would have to pay return shipping. This ($12 in total) is nearly the same cost as the item ($18.99). Their only alternative was to accept a measly refund of $6 to forego having to pay to return the item. Hardly great choices. I chose the last one just for convenience but have not received my $6 or any communication. Companies like ASOS offer free, convenient shipping and returns without having to waste time in a prolonged and unhelpful email chain. To return an mis-sized item (advertised at US 8 but closer to US 12) to Retro Stage will cost nearly as much as the product and waste a lot of your time. This is a total scam to prevent you returning unsuitable items. Further to Retro Stage’s second response, I have received no refund from them on May 15th or any other date. Final update-I’ve now received a refund for this item (minus shipping) which I’m grateful for but it really should not have taken this much effort.
