Review Time
This platform is one of the best among its competitors. It provides transcription and subtitle jobs and services with good average payment. I just wish they would allow people from all countries to work more easily and not treat them like foreigners.
Very easy to use way to record all kinds of conversations and situations. Makes it much easier to keep my head up and my eyes & ears engaging with my clients rather than taking notes while trying to keep the lines of communication open

Strange upsellingWhen I signed up for rev.com's basic plan for myself and a colleague, I thought I was able to access 2400 minutes of AI transcription per month between the two of us.While that is true, in the fine print of the contract I agreed to (not on the overall description of the plan on the website), I was apparently told that I can only use their transcription editor on the rev.com platform for the first 90 minutes of any meeting. Strangely, for my plan, the platform does generate a complete transcript of any recording. So, I can download the transcript and then edit it in Word or upload the transcript into another AI platform to do editing or analysis. So why have this very strange limit which is only going to encourage me to go off their platform?Apparently, Rev.com has discontinued the current account plan tier I am on in favor for a pricier one. Again, if you look at the parameters of the next priced tier, it doesn't say anything about a per meeting transcription editor limit on the website (though, again, it might be in some fine print somewhere.) In asking customer service about this, I wasn't given rapid answers in a way that would make me confident given the prior bait and switch (though perhaps covered up by a fig leaf somewhere in an agreement I signed) I had experienced. While the transcription service itself is good, and I appreciate the security features of rev.com, this pettiness and lack of transparency (would it have been so hard to put a line on the webpage explaining limits to the transcription editor?) make me question the commitment they have to their customers.

Digital evidence has grown 10–100x in the last decade — body-worn cameras on every officer, dash cams on every car, smartphones and doorbells recording every incident, and hours of 911, jail calls, and interviews in every case. But legal and law enforcement teams have not grown 10–100x with it, making it impossible to fully review cases with the time and staff available.
Rev is the only economic way to keep pace. Our platform combines industry-leading speech recognition with AI that cites its sources, so every result is accurate, verifiable, and tied directly to the original file. We keep humans firmly in control — AI never replaces judgment, it supports it — giving legal and law enforcement professionals the clarity and time they need to make fair, informed decisions. And when precision matters most, optional human review adds an extra layer of assurance.
Built with strict security protocols (CJIS, HIPAA, and SOC2) and zero data sharing with third party LLMs, Rev helps teams find the truth faster, move cases forward with confidence, and spend less of their lives stuck in playback and paperwork — while keeping responsibility for judgment exactly where it belongs: with them.
The bottomline: Rev delivers fewer overtime hours, fewer missed details, faster case movement, and more sustainable workloads for the people responsible for applying judgment in the moments that matter the most.See more
