This company is a big joke. We ordered some furniture from IKEA and unfortunately Rhenus was our logistics provider. Such a bad luck!!! They gave the time window between 2-9 pm and they called us at 12 to get ready in 30 mins. Even though this is unacceptable I said ok and left work early and asked my husband to bring the payment card quickly because they were arriving earlier.We got ready in the house and waited 8 hours! No one arrived, rang the bell or called us. Then IKEA customer service called and said that because our street is too narrow and we didn't provide enough parking space beforehand, the truck left without even stopping in front of the building. This is a big fat lie! Our building is a corner building which faces to two bug streets. Other big furniture delivery trucks easily parked and delivered things properly.We told IKEA that we are not accepting that this is our fault. Apparently we were supposed to go to Rathaus to get parking permission signs and put them in the street couple of days ago. We were not informed about this before. How are we supposed to know this? Also, our street is BIG ENOUGH!!! We also learned that even though we get this permission before and call Rhenus to bring our stuff again it will cost us another delivery charge which is another 225 euros. Now, even though we cancelled the whole order, IKEA forces us to pay the 225 euro delivery amount and says that's it's our fault. Now we have to pay this amount without having any furniture. Rhenus was lying about arriving the address. We were in balcony for the whole time, our bell was working fine, our phones were turned on... Because of their unacceptable delivery practice and dishonesty we have to pay 225 euros for NOTHING!!!Be aware of this company, they are liars and they are the worst delivery company in Germany! Keep out for your own good.
