I am a very disappointed first time…

I am a very disappointed first time customer. Thank GOODNESS I did not order more items as originally intended. I’m still waiting for my delivery. All they have to do is contact Evri (UK) and make them deliver the goods. I should NOT be chasing this; in the UK, it is the retailer’s responsibility (Rhode Skincare) to ensure purchases are delivered to customers. I am not satisfied with the response I received from Rhode, which was based on assumptions and generic responses, not facts:- for example: “Oh no, we are really sorry to hear about that! We sincerely apologize for the lack of updates on your package. It can take around 2-3 business days for our partner processing facility to receive your order and get it across the border, which is included in the total transit time. Occasionally we see delays with customs which could be due to inclement weather or a backlog of packages at the facility. We've reached out to our partner to speed this along...”THIS IS NOT HELPFUL and not what I requested. The package is already past customs, the delivery company have been telling me they’re going to deliver “today” every day for the past week. Please, please do something, Rode Skincare. This is outrageous.I do not recommend Rhode and I would strongly advise customers to think carefully before ordering anything from this company…in fact don’t do it!UPDATE: I have had a response from Rhode, just when I’d given up:“Thank you for your patience while we looked into this. Because your package appears to have had no movement in the last few days, we're happy to offer a refund or a replacement of the same products originally ordered. Please let us know if the address used on the original order is still the correct address you'd like to receive your products.Looking forward to hearing back from you.​”So now I’ve opted for a refund. This has been a huge lesson for me; research before ordering from any company, especially a new one. Also, check out which delivery company they use! I will update when the refund is complete.
