UPDATE: After a pleasant handling and contact with the shop owner, Rivet & Hide has now won my trust again. A five-star follow-up and dialogue. Neat. They have won my trust again and I will shop there again. Hope for a 5-star experience also in the store next time.Original review: Having only e-shopped from Rivet & Hide, it was with great anticipation that I walked into their store in London. But jeez, what a bad reception. (I was the only customer in the store for the whole time). Two people who couldn't care less about me. If I asked a question, one of them responded with such a short answer that it made me wonder if they really wanted to sell products and get happy customers and loyal fans. I walked around the store, "squeezed" and felt several products, but no one asked me a single question. Or even showed any interest in me. This is not the experience I previously had with, among others, Danny over e-mail before an online purchase. I actually now regret that I made the purchase. What is even worse is that about 1 hour later a friend of mine walked in who was also visiting London (togehther with me), he had exactly the same bad experience. No, I will not return to this store. There are several other selvedge / denim /leather jacket stores that will surely give you a smile, guide you through the alternatives and stand for great service. But that didn't happen at Rivet & Hide London.
