I contacted Road buddy for a quote for a replacement tyre and emergency call out. I was initially quoted £395 via WhatsApp message from ‘ready buddy’. After speaking to my husband, he asked me to get more quotes. I explained this clearly to the man on the phone.Instead of accepting that, he repeatedly asked what we wanted to pay and began lowering the price, first to £319 and then to £250, which made the original quote feel questionable. This was supposedly for a mid range tyre, while my husband had specifically asked me to get a Michelin. The man listed multiple brands but was not listening to what I was actually asking for.I politely said no thank you several times and tried to end the call, but he would not take no for an answer. Eventually, he became angry and said he was not sending anyone out because I was “bloody wasting his time.”If he had listened from the start and respected my decision, the call would have been much shorter. The aggressive tone and refusal to accept a polite no were completely unprofessional. Very disappointing experience from an angry little man
