Our experience with Roadsurfer was extremely disappointing. We had to wait almost 3 hours to get our camper van at the time of the pick-up, the reason being there was a leak on the water deposit and the mechanical team was trying to fix it. In doing so, they broke the outdoor table and scratch the inside of the truck. We informed this and they say it was okay, that they would take a note of the damages. We also notice some other damages (scratches on the outside of the van, curtains broken, floor of the living room damaged…) and when we told them we got the same response, that it was fine. After the pick up, we had a problem with the van and had to solve it with an external company because there was no way to contact Roadsurfer, we called multiple times to the phone listed on their page (very difficult to find) with no response. Many calls later, we spoke with an agent who had no solutions for us and only requested to take pictures and send them via email. We tried again with another agent who gave us a German phone number saying “they will help you” and when we called nobody spoke English. And the worst part? We returned the van in perfect conditions and when we received the damages report we saw that we are blamed for all those damages that we verbally informed (and took pictures of them) that were there before our use. This is unacceptable. Hope they can fix this and return our money because being charged for something we didn’t do is insane.
