To start with, this is a great company to use, and everything below should be read as “things worth knowing” rather than complaints. Their vans are modern and clearly well‑travelled, but generally well looked after. Most things worked exactly as advertised, which is always a win. The instructional videos are genuinely helpful, and the step‑by‑step check‑in process on their web app works pretty well—unless, of course, you end up being given a different van model from the one you did the pre‑pickup training on… which we did. A small curveball, but manageable.
During our inspection we noticed a few bits missing from the standard equipment. These were sorted very quickly, and the damage map matched the vehicle perfectly, so no concerns there. Do allow plenty of time for the handover though. . it takes a good hour, so this is not one to rush.
The inspection itself is very focused on the “camper” side of the vehicle. Unfortunately, this became apparent later that evening when we discovered both headlight bulbs had blown. This resulted in an unplanned trip to buy tools and replacement bulbs. Entirely our fault, we should have checked at handover, but hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Once on site, we also found the mains lead was faulty. We emailed customer support and, to be fair, the initial response was prompt and reassuring. The follow‑up, however, was less impressive. After chasing twice and hearing nothing back, we bought a replacement lead ourselves (they have since offered to refund us, which is appreciated).
Despite these small niggles, and every trip has a few, we would happily use the company again. They were professional, good value for money, and overall provided a solid experience. Just maybe double‑check the headlights before you drive off.

My friend and I rented a roadsurfer for a national park roadtrip and picked up our camper in Vegas.

My friend and I rented a roadsurfer for a national park roadtrip and picked up our camper in Vegas. We arrived on time for our pick up time, and waited probably 15 minutes before even being helped. There were 3 workers and 2 of us picking up campers, yet only one worker was helping guests. The other two were just chatting on the computer. Then, as we're waiting to pay the deposit and sign papers, the staff helping us say "Oh no...." and then when we ask what's wrong, he doesn't tell us. Proceeds to click through his computer for ten more minutes without talking to us, then goes in the corner to tell his manager what happened. Turns out he put our credit card on the other customers ticket for his deposit instead of ours, and he didn't know how to get that $800 charge off the other account and on to ours. It took about 15 more minutes for all three of the staff members to figure it out and get us back on track for payment.

We finally got through the paperwork and our camper got pulled around to the front. The worker said "You guys watched the intro video right?" Of course we did, but we said this is our first time driving a camper like this, so it would be helpful to just get an overview of it in person. So he says, "Yeah so just follow the checklist and let me know if you have any questions." And then walks back inside and leaves us alone with the van to figure it out.

We came up with lots of clarifying questions of course, and when we asked him, he knew the answer to absolutely zero questions. He went and got his manager twice, and then it was closing time, so his manager left, and the worker gave us half explained answers. It was very apparent that he had no idea what he was talking about. It's now past the time they are supposed to close and we still have not signed the contract or gotten the keys. We were checking the panel for everything and noticed the propane level was only 2/3 full. I immediately spoke up because this was in February and it was 30 degrees out and we knew we would need to use the heater at night. The worker said, "Oh that should be plenty, the propane won't run out that quick." (Spoiler: he was wrong) Then, we noticed the water tank was only at 1/3 full. So I spoke up about that. He hooked up to fill the water tank, and then walked back inside and left it to fill by itself! I watched as the water began to overflow and spill into our camper. I didn't know how to stop it because he hadn't explained anything, and by the time he came back out, water was everywhere. At that point, we were fed up and just wanted to leave. It was an hour and forty five minutes after our pickup time before we left. And we STILL felt extremely unsure about how to use anything because of the lack of help we received.

THEN - Here's the best part. The propane did in fact go down to almost empty our first day, and the low that night was 5 degrees F. We were out in the middle of nowhere camping with not a propane filler in sight. So, we wore layers upon layers, and slept in the freezing cold that night. We also had NO idea how or where to fill the propane tank because we were told by both the worker and his manager that we would no way run out of propane so don't even worry about it!!!

As for the van: beat up and run down. The table underneath the bed for support did not even exist in our van (Liberty Lodge). The gray water and water level were broken, and stayed on 1/3 full no matter how much we used, filled, etc. There was a chip in the windshield that was already there, but then we got blamed for it at drop off.

Overall, the van worked for our purpose, but it took a LOT of work to get it to do so. If someone is going to rent one of these, ask all the questions until you know what you're doing, and check the tanks and make sure they're full before you leave!!!! Crazy that we had to return everything filled when we didn't even pick it up filled. Good luck, hope you have better customer service than us!

The van over all didn’t miss a beat super comfy to drive sleep & live out of .

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the service. Before departing from the location, we were promised that everything in the van was functional and ready for use. However, we quickly discovered that the gas was not operational, and when we reached out for help, they provided a portable gas stove that also failed to work. Additionally, we did not receive adequate bedding despite having paid for it. Interacting with the support team has been a nightmare while trying to resolve reimbursement issues. I will never use this service again; they are unprofessional, and their customer support is among the worst I have encountered. Every time I speak to a different representative, I am assured that the issue will be addressed, but no one ever follows up. A very poor experience overall; I strongly recommend choosing a different provider.

Excellent Experience with the Rental

We rented a vehicle from a location in Lisbon for two weeks during the off season. Despite arriving a bit early, the staff was very accommodating and completed the check-in process efficiently. The vehicle was in excellent condition and caused us no issues at all. The check-out was quick and easy, and chatting with the friendly staff took longer than the actual procedure. :)

Fantastic Experience from Beginning to End

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. Initially, I was nervous about handing over thousands of dollars for a deposit without having a phone number. However, every question I sent via email was answered quickly, which encouraged us to proceed. I'm so glad we did! The rental process was seamless, our van was well-equipped, clean, and comfortable—truly the best sleep I've had in years. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to assist us. I also appreciated the pre-arrival email and videos that familiarized us with the van. We enjoyed the flexibility and freedom that renting offered, driving 3200 km to explore various destinations at our own pace, including Rome, Florence, Verona, Milan, Paris, Pisa, Sacro Bosco, and lovely stops along the way. We've shared our amazing experience with everyone we know and will definitely choose them again in the future.

New RV Enthusiasts and We Loved It!

As first-time RV users, we are completely hooked! We rented a spacious RV for 6 days and journeyed from the desert to snowy landscapes. The vehicle was dependable, cozy, and fully equipped for extreme cold conditions. The children had a fantastic time, and we felt entirely secure and ready for our adventure. A perfect 10 out of 10 experience!

Unjust Liability Claims and Poor Reimbursement Experience

I received a notification from the service stating that I am responsible for $22,227.91 in damages for the Couple Condo, despite being clearly not liable as the car was involved in an accident. The police report identified the other party as at fault, and their insurance should have covered the damage costs according to that report, but the service has not honored it. Additionally, I have been waiting for over a month for the claims department to reimburse my expenses related to the stay and travel after the accident. I have a written confirmation from the service promising reimbursement for these costs. Despite providing the necessary receipts, I have yet to receive any payment. It is frustrating that the service returned the very images I submitted to assist them without including the police report. The team took advantage of my patience and cooperation, leaving me extremely dissatisfied with this situation.

A thoroughly frustrating experience with the service during our trip.

Our experience with the service during our September/October 2025 trip was deeply disappointing. From the moment we picked up our campervan in France, the vehicle was in unacceptable condition. It was damaged, unclean, and had a severely depleted battery. The windows were faulty, the bed strap was broken, and there was human waste left in the toilet. Despite voicing our concerns to the staff, we were assured that the van would be fine, only to encounter persistent battery issues, leaving us without electricity for the first week of our journey. Support was slow, hard to reach, and often unhelpful. We had to take long detours to obtain a replacement vehicle, which caused us to miss planned events and incurred unexpected costs for fuel, accommodation, and campsites. While some staff members were professional and helpful, the overall experience was stressful, physically draining, and entirely avoidable. The service failed to provide a functioning vehicle, timely support, and adequate compensation. We accepted a partial reimbursement after a month of waiting for the claims department's response, but it does not reflect the disruption, stress, and financial loss we faced. Unfortunately, we have lost all confidence in this service and cannot recommend them.

Great Experience, but Local Contact Needed

The pickup experience was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and provided helpful advice about the vehicle and its operation. The drop-off was just as easy. The only downside was reaching customer service. It was challenging to connect with the local facility, and the main line led to an international number that didn't respond. Other than that, it was great.
