I have purchased the squirrel proof feeder and the seed catcher for underneath. I wanted something that the small birds could feed from, and to have able to feed without attracting rats. I was initially disappointed, as the sparrows wouldn't use it. However, after around 6 months they are using it all day everyday. The big birds stay away (I have a feeding station for them further up the garden) and the feeder is large and keeps all the seed completely clean and dry, meaning once filled i know it will last if I go away on holiday. Easy to fill, and clean, looks nice, and all the little birds love it.
