I purchased 3 of these and found them to be good for mealworms, not good for whole peanuts, but a disaster for seed. Starlings invade the space and empty the seeds onto the patio in a search for the seeds of choice, messy and expensive.
The feeders are good quality, easy to disassemble and clean.
Roamwild is definitely a company I would recommend. the website is easy to use, the ordering process straightforward. My squirrel-proof bird feeder arrived promptly and I'm delighted with this product, it really is squirrel and large bird-proof, and it is filled by removing the bottom section and turning it upside down which prevents any build-up of clag in the bottom. The best bird feeder I've ever bought and if I decide to buy another I'll go back to Roamwild.
First of all love the bird feeder. Secondly, I received a surprise free gift of an extendable torch and mini brush which turns out I really like. The only problem is that it didn't work. No problem at all though as they have offered to send me a new one free of charge. Couldn't be more impressed with this company. Hugh
This item was a replacement for my previous order because one of my perches had been broken, possibly by a storm or a crow. Unfortunately, I received incorrect advice and the sparrows stopped coming to my feeder. After reaching out to Roam Wild, they sent me new plastic perches at no cost, identical to those originally supplied. I'm happy to report that the sparrows and robins have returned. I recommend these feeders, as they seem effective at preventing visits from crows.
I purchased these because the sunflower hearts in my other feeders were becoming damp and moldy. I had a lot of birds visiting before, but now I have none. It seems they can't access the seeds. The previous all-wire feeders were much better. This has been a total waste of money, especially since they were so pricey! They were marketed for sunflower hearts, which is what I expected.
I acquired the Pestoff 3.0 today. Initially, I thought it was somewhat expensive, but seeing it in person changed my perspective. Now I’m amazed at how they offer it at such an affordable price! The quality is excellent, and even the packaging conveys a sense of premium quality. It’s significantly larger than my previous inexpensive model, which means I need to fill it less often.
We are enjoying our window feeder. The birds have figured it out and take turns eating. We had some difficulty attaching the suction cups, especially on a cold window. The angle was tricky, requiring a step ladder to secure them. Once in place, it’s been fantastic!
