I am extremely disappointed with the experience my parents had in this store. My dad lives with a severe spinal injury which affects the way he walks, and he also struggles with significant anxiety. While visiting the shop, my mum overheard staff laughing and making a rude remark clearly directed at him. This behavior was not only disrespectful, but deeply hurtful. When confronted, the staff attempted to excuse their behavior with an unconvincing explanation, claiming they were reacting to football — something that simply did not match the situation. This experience has had a real emotional impact on my dad and has knocked his confidence when out in public. No customer — especially someone already dealing with disability and anxiety — should ever be made to feel mocked or unwelcome. I then had a brief call with the manager who attempted to deny all allegations yet again and take little accountability for his staff's lack of honesty and integrity. We had originally planned to purchase tiles here, but after this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
