The process to get my mortgage was fine. The problem is they never stop contacting you about nonsense. They're always pushing insurance on you, sending checks that look real but are fake advertisements. I'm so sick of them that I'll never use them again.
The worst was I got an offer to refinance. My credit is great, so I thought the deal might be real. All the numbers checked out until I met with my attorney to sign the paperwork (required in my state). The numbers no longer checked out on paper, only over the phone. My mortgage was going to cost more monthly, overall, and they wanted money at closing. Never again.
