I want to start by mentioning that I have been a loyal user of Roku for a long time, always appreciating their products and user-friendly interface, which my kids found easy to navigate. However, I will never purchase any Roku products again. In the past 12 days, I bought two brand new Roku TVs, and both had issues. The first was a 50”, and the second was a 55”. I had to return the first one because it wouldn’t get past the startup screen. When I returned to the store, they no longer had any 50” models, so I opted for the 55”. Upon setting it up at home, I noticed an electrical buzzing noise from the back where the plug connects, sounding like something was about to fail. I reached out to the support team for help. After about five days of back-and-forth emails, they stopped responding altogether, marking the issue as resolved even though it clearly wasn’t. Not only did I receive two new TVs with problems, but the customer service was also incredibly frustrating and unhelpful. Now, I have switched to a different brand, a TCL mini LED for my kids' game room. While it's a bit more expensive, the picture quality is significantly better—much clearer, sharper, and brighter! Plus, there have been no issues at all! I advise caution with Roku products and their customer service. Consider choosing a different option.
