I enrolled in the Paris Bootcamp (31 May – 6 June 2026) at Rome Business School as part of my Master in Fashion Management and specifically chose Paris because of the Sup de Luxe partnership and its focus on Luxury, Creativity and Fashion Business. I paid the full €2,295 on 20 January 2026 to secure the early-bird and full-payment discounts.
As a non-European student from Hong Kong, I needed advance information on accommodation and participant numbers to book flights early, manage jet lag with early a night arrival. From early February I sent multiple emails and followed up across different departments. The school repeatedly delayed, saying they could only confirm the participant list and accommodation in March or April.
Because of these delays, I could not book flights when prices were reasonable. Nonstop round-trips from Hong Kong to Paris have now risen to over €1,180 (Cathay Pacific) and up to €1,977 (Air France) for my dates.
Despite repeated follow-ups, phone calls, and even contacting multiple departments, the school has refused a full refund. They only offer to switch me to another destination and keep citing the 14-day withdrawal period. I have now escalated to my bank for a chargeback and to the Hong Kong Consumer Council or Italian Consumer Authority.
I am requesting a full refund (not partial) because the lack of basic pre-program support made the paid service unaffordable and impractical for an international student. This experience has been extremely disappointing.
Warning to other international students : Think twice before paying ! Communication is slow, practical planning support is almost non-existent, and getting money back after the 14-day window appears almost impossible.
