WOW! I didn't realise how much opportunity there was for an oldie like me (almost 60!) to find a flatting situation. I had plenty of opportunities open to me, everyone was kind, respectful and great communicators! I have been lucky enough to find someone who enjoys a lot of my interests and especially my "vibe".

Overall a good site and will use it again next time I'm looking for a new roommate . All the messages I received where good leads. Whish they had more filters to search potential roommates to narrow down potential matches- geographically, move in date and length of stay.

My experience with the service was disappointing. They provided leads that were not even located in the state, let alone the specific area I needed. Additionally, the information about candidates was very generic. There were also issues with pricing and difficulties in messaging. While another platform was an improvement, it still didn’t match the quality of this one. The competition is not as strong either, as another popular site had too many listings, making it hard to find fresh opportunities. Overall, this platform stands out!
I really enjoy using this platform, but I wish there was an option to "Block" users. I have a "renter" who keeps messaging me without genuine interest in the room. They send incomplete thoughts, and when I suggested they communicate more clearly, they started sending passive-aggressive comments. I can't block them, so my only option is to delete their messages.
I will definitely return to this platform for any future romming needs. Although I secured a place outside of Roomies, I really felt confident setting up my profile, searching through a listings, having options to verify, connecting with others searching. I got very viable hits right away, and would have definitely secured a place here from the offers I first received. Thank you for being such a needed resource for us who work for our keep in life and still it's not enough. I embrace the idea of rooming as an alternative and Roomies is a reliable trustworthy source. Nicely done, kids!
