We bought 2x chest of drawers and 2 side tables from roseland. Costing just shy of £1000. Advertised "solid oak" but the small print states its vaneer with a solid wood top.
Furniture arrived after a short delivery period, all boxes marked with "made in vietnam" which had alarm bells ringing. This was confirmed when we unboxed the items. Hands down the worst build quality you can imagine. Slapped together would be a glowing review. Splinters, split timber, peeling veneer, un level and wobbly legs. A side table was squashed flat on one corner yet the box was undamaged. Meaning it had left the factory in this condition. Serious quality control issues. Safe to say we opted to return our order for a full refund. Now the redeeming quality was the customer service, nothing was too much trouble for these guys. Sympathetic, proactive team who sorted everything out quickly and professionally. One of the best customer service teams ive experienced, very reassuring. The items were collected in a timely fashion and refunded with no problems.
