I have once again experienced quality issues with Roseland furniture, this time with the Shorwell Dark Oak Slatted 5 Drawer Tallboy Chest. The item arrived with no pre-drilled holes for the handle, despite the assembly manual clearly stating that these holes should already be in place. As a result, I was forced to drill the holes myself just to complete the assembly, including having to purchase wood drill bits at my own expense to rectify a manufacturing failure.
This is not something a customer should ever be expected to do, particularly when the instructions explicitly state otherwise.
Even more disappointing is the customer service. There appears to be no genuine interest in resolving issues or acknowledging the inconvenience caused. Responses feel dismissive, with no real effort made to provide a satisfactory resolution or demonstrate any concern for customer experience.
Given this is not the first issue I’ve had with Roseland, the repeated quality failures combined with poor customer service leave me with little confidence in the brand. I would strongly advise potential customers to think carefully before purchasing.
