Update: Nowadays Ruelala is a tad slow on responding if reaching out by emails. They did not adhere to their outlined response time, “within two business days.” In addition, I recently contacted them with a simple yet time-sensitive inquiry on their return address and was met with a lady who made inaccurate assumptions (and quite the embarrassment for herself). She was not kind but rather came off on the defensive, but when my partner contacted Ruelala and it just so happened he had the same lady on the phone - she was all giggly and fawning over. Mind you, I’m the customer and not my partner. He doesn’t even have a Ruelala account. Teach your employees to treat ALL customers with equality, kindness, courtesy and professionalism. My experience received was selective treatment and I did not appreciate that one bit. Let’s see how my return went with them this time considering there were 12 items and utilizing my own shipping label. The pendulum will swing in that direction considering such a large return. Original Review: I’ve been a customer of Ruelala for 14 years now and have consistently ordered from them throughout the years. Sure, there were times when I’ve ordered something not to my liking - I would simply return it. Nowadays, I’m more cautious on what I order and do plenty of research before I pull the trigger on an item because their return fee has increased. The alternative is you could keep it as a credit on your account to be used towards the next purchase without having the shipping fee deducted - which isn’t so shabby considering I do order plenty from them. That’s anywhere from home goods to women’s clothing, accessories and shoes as well as the occasional gifts. There’s hardly a time I needed assistance as everything is simple and laid out, although recently I did and their customer service was on point and exuded exemplary appreciation/consideration for customer loyalty and accommodated me on a request. Not only that, when I did get them on the horn - the service provided was pleasant and professional. Honestly, I can find no fault with them. Sure, not all items arrive in a couple of days but plenty of the orders do and one must keep in mind certain items arrive directly from either the manufacturers or third party sellers and thus could take some time. As for my orders, they’re always fulfilled quickly and shipping takes minimal time.
