Ran the Dartford Half today - largely well organised, good marshalling & event site was good. Main issue is coming to a standstill after 1k right at the very start. Path too narrow round the lakes for the volume of runners & fishermen's tents narrowing the path even more. The first part of the course needs to be sorted out...no one wants to be walking at snail's pace after only 1k!!
Bought a ticket for the half marathon on the 1st of march Sunday 2026 paid around £65 there must of been a glitch when I made the payment I still haven’t received any booking reference or an email confirmation it’s quite a bit of money to be losing
I’ve taken part in a few RunThrough events recently, and honestly, they’ve been nothing short of incredible.
Each one has had such an amazing atmosphere, from the energy at the start line to the cheers all the way around the course. The staff and volunteers are always so friendly, supportive, and full of enthusiasm, which really makes a difference on those tougher miles.
What stands out most is how well-organised and welcoming these events are. Whether you’re running for a PB, taking it steady, or just there for the experience, everyone feels part of something special. The sense of community, positivity, and encouragement is unmatched.

Be aware. They send no confirmation or receipt of your entry. I therefore assumed it hadn't gone through so entered again for a race and was then charged twice. They told me they don't do refunds. Very poor systems. Won't be racing with them again.
I participated in the Newbury 5k in August and the Goodwood Marathon in December. Both events were very well organized. The Goodwood Marathon, in particular, stood out with its variety of distances and excellent aid stations providing gels. Runners began with an out and back section before completing the necessary laps around the racetrack, with the longer distances starting earlier and the 5k concluding last. However, one issue was the limited number of toilets, leading to long queues. With such a large turnout, better preparation is essential. Additionally, there were no portable toilets around the racetrack, which has been noted in previous feedback.
I participated in the Newark Half Marathon. It was a well-organized event, and I even won a category prize that was a discounted entry for another event. However, I didn't receive the voucher until I reached out days before entering another event. They sent me a discount code that was accepted, but the full race entry price was still deducted from my account.
Another fantastic event from the organization. The attention to detail was impressive, and all the volunteers were incredibly supportive. I want to give a special shout-out to the friendly and efficient team at the bag drop who even let me sit in their chair while I changed my shoes! :)
I participated in the Aintree Half Marathon and, despite the weather, had a great time. The registration and packet pickup were smooth, and the pre-run warm-up followed by the race, with supportive marshals, made it even more enjoyable. I lost my medal afterward, but the team assured me they would send a replacement at no cost. Excellent service, and I look forward to signing up for more events!
